About the work
Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis, Austria My first Spring ski racing training camp more than half a century ago was in the small village of Fiss and returning there recently, I was just captivated by the serenity and tranquillity of the surrounding mountains. The simple contrast of the light and shade over these ridges, dressed with the fresh untouched snow, captures the very image in my mind that has brought me back to the mountains every year (Covid excepted) for over six decades now.Medium: Giclée print on Hahnemühle Pearl 285gsm
