About the work
Gressoney, Monte Rosa, Italy I was exploring the hinterland of Gressoney, the beautiful and spectacular massif of the Monte Rosa and found less snow in the middle of January than I have ever seen here at this time of year. Whilst riding up the chairlift to the Punta Joland I took this “selfie” which I felt was self-explanatory about the dramatic changes that are a result of the huge population explosion over the last half century.
