Rays Goryu Ridge, Hakuba, Honsu, Japan Australian ski race legend, Steve Lee was leading our group through the beautiful Japanese Silver Birch forest above Goryu and Hakuba 47, where back-country skiing has only very recently been opened up. The Goryu Ridge leads right up to the heart of the imposing Japanese Alps and this morning the kaleidoscopic light through the clouds was the perfect signature from the land of the rising sun.Medium: Giclee print
