Returns Policy

Original Artwork

Due to the bespoke nature and high value of original artworks, we do not offer refunds or exchanges unless the item is damaged upon arrival or significantly not as described.

If your artwork arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 7 days of receipt at info@hancockgallery.co.uk or +44(0)191 241 0442, including clear photographs of the damage and the packaging. We will assess the issue and offer a replacement (if available), repair, or full refund as appropriate.



Limited Edition Prints and Reproductions

Returns or exchanges for limited edition prints or reproductions are accepted within 14 days of receipt, provided the item is returned in its original condition and packaging. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.


 

Custom or Commissioned Works

We do not accept returns or offer refunds for custom or commissioned artworks, except in the event of damage or a significant error on our part.


 

General Conditions

  • All returns must be pre-authorised by us via email or phone.

  • Items must be returned in their original packaging and in the condition they were received.

  • We recommend using a tracked and insured service for returning artwork.

  • Refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days of receiving the returned item.


 

Your Statutory Rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
