About the work
This piece invites viewers into a unique dialogue with nature from multiple perspectives. From the side, we observe small, bird costumed figures, seemingly vying for our attention within a compact world. When viewed from above, however, the scene shifts, the ‘chicks’ appear to guide these creatures towards an escape through the birds' open mouths. The shifting perspectives reveal how our viewpoint can alter the interplay between these characters. Metaphorically, this work prompts reflections on how our own perspectives define our experiences of nature and encourage a reconsideration of co-existence.
