About the work
Inspired by the organic shape of the slab-built pot itself, this piece celebrates the intimate interdependence between humans and nature. A woman, hybridised with a bird, embodies the concept of seeing through another’s eyes—a view that reveals alternative ways of existence. Holding the pot, the viewer is drawn into a symbiotic perspective, where human and wildlife forms merge. Through this shared vision, we’re invited to explore how adopting another’s view might transform our relationship with the world around us, emphasising empathy and connection with the often-overlooked elements of nature.
