"The pot/vase is a place where the viewer encounters a giant mantis on your table. You are invited to decide how the insect will react to a plate of tempting deserts in the human’s view. Will it enjoy the human’s delicacy, or try to escape the beautifully decorated, while gauzed and isolated cage? It questions human’s dominating role in defining the needs of nature, based on a single-sided perspective and opens up questions of who we are and our alternative roles in sharing nature’s environment."
