About the work
From 2002 to 2007, the original Pulp Fiction mural by Banksy could be seen near Old Street tube station in London, until it was sadly painted over. Fortunately, in 2004, Pictures on Walls released a series of limited-edition screenprints, featuring Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta’s characters from Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction, preserving the mural in print form. With a nod to Andy Warhol’s 1967 album cover for The Velvet Underground, the striking yellow banana motifs replace the guns, set against a classic Banksy monochrome backdrop.
The piece features the publisher’s blind stamp and is numbered in pencil at the lower right. It is in pristine condition and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity issued by Pest Control.
