Under The Bloom is an original oil painting by Sam Wood which presents a figure standing in the dark beneath pink blossom. The delicate pinks and purples of the blossom and the figures white clothing provide a stark contrast to the unlit surroundings. We see the nuanced blossom acting as a vibrant shelter for the faceless individual.
