Macleod's oil is a depiction of Robert Burns' poem the Tam O'Shanter. The poem outlines a story of Tam a farmer who experiences a coven of witches. One of the witches was called Nannie and was known for her beauty and wearing revealing dresses rips his Horses tail off after noticing him spying on them.
