The self- taught artist Robin Coleman’s inception with painting began as a means to release stress after a spinal disease diagnosis. Dissatisfied with a single medium Robin started using
newsprint, classic comic books, magazine cuttings and stamps to bring unique elements to the powerful imagery already used. This created a whole new dimension to the work with layers and textures alongside iconic the imagery from Disney to pin-up beauties, superheroes to tax disks.
