Hinterwater VI by ceramicist Adele Howitt is a terracotta sculpture, combining wheel-thrown and coiled elements, with individually applied leaves. The piece features a handmade cobalt and barium glaze, fired as earthenware, measuring 37 x 32 x 29 cm. Howitt’s work explores the living landscape, abstraction, and natural patterns, using traditional pottery techniques to create textured reliefs.
