Hannah Gilson, a London-based illustrator and educator, is celebrated for her mixed media creations that merge painting, screen printing and drawing. With roots in fine art, her work has evolved into a vibrant fusion of hand-drawn and digital illustration, often inspired by popular culture and contemporary aesthetics.
In 2023, Hannah received the Boodle Hatfield Printmaking Prize for her piece Flowers and held her first solo exhibition at the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair. She regularly showcases her art at events like The Other Art Fair and the Affordable Art Fair and was recently featured in House of Hackney’s Let’s Fill This House With Art initiative.
Her commercial portfolio includes collaborations with major retailers such as IKEA, Anthropologie, and La Redoute. Additionally, she has produced editorial illustrations for the Evening Standard Magazine and designed a contemporary card range for Woodmansterne Cards.
