"I choose to paint places that have been altered, for better or for worse, either directly or indirectly by human development. Sometimes I hear people remark at the marriage of abstract structure and landscape in my work. But in reality, that is what the world looks like these days.."
Based in Denver, Colorado, Noelle Phares brings a fresh perspective into her contemporary landscape paintings through the examination of the tension between organic and synthetic. Her work combines landscape elements juxtaposed against structural geometry to create beautifully fractured architectural landscapes that explore the ever-encroaching presence of humanity into previously pristine untouched spaces.
We are delighted to be showing an exclusive collection of original works by Noelle, in her first exhibition outside of North America, we showcase 10 new originals as well as the print portfolio of an artist who's work brings a fresh perspective into contemporary landscape painting.
