Hancock Gallery is proud to present the UK debut exhibition Illuminating Reality, by Petra Schott.
Based in Frankfurt, Germany, Petra Scott's work is a mixture of absorbing colours and shapes, events and conversations. She allows these elements to trigger inner dialogues and images, which she transcribes onto the canvas through shapes, marks and lines found in her everyday life, often tacking canvas directly to her studio wall, and working intuitively for hours on end.
Illuminating Reality, showcases a collection that evokes emotions of nostalgia, beauty and optimism – and is exclusive to Hancock Gallery.
